01.31.15: Anti-Flag, Such Gold, The Homeless Gospel Choir, Still Alive @ Reggies

On Saturday, January 31st, 2015 a friend from Pittsburgh came through to play a show in Chicago. It occurred at Reggies which I had heard about before moving here. It was good to see Derek again. This was a good show to be part of & turned out to be a sold out event as is the case for the next show for Derek in Chicago.

The opening band was a local hardcore/reggae hybrid called Still Alive. I really enjoyed their set I filmed their song United By Defiance. Derek played his tunes as The Homeless Gospel Choir next & shared his heart of love for others & the music scene. I picked his song Musical Preference to film. Next was Such Gold, a pop punk/metal band. I'm not as into what they played but I filmed their song Nauseating. Anti-Flag headlined the night with a set featuring "Terror State" in it's entirety with a few other songs after that. I filmed Power To The Peaceful.
