Working On...Cornerstone Friday

I just finished up the editing and whatnot for the Chariot set at Cornerstone 2008 which more or less finished up the Thursday music related videos.  As I type this I am uploading a clip from Bradley Hathaway (which is the last Thursday clip).

The Chariot performance is my favorite so far.  It seems their style of performance and my style of filming work well together.  I felt in 2007 their performance was the best I shot as well.

Working On...Unified Underground

There is so much I could say about the Unified Underground experience.  I still haven't wrapped my head around it all but I know I love the punk culture and hope to find a way to minister to them.  To get to the reason I write this all in this particular blog, I created a very short video (with little effort put into it) that shows a little bit of Unified Underground.  In this video is a live performance by Our Corpse Destroyed with some footage of the trip to the event.  There is also a clip with Shawn Jonas speaking.  I actually intended to film quite a bit of this event but did not for a few reasons.

Here's the video:

Working On...Cornerstone 2008 - Tooth & Nail Day

I finished uploading the last of the footage from Tooth & Nail Day (the All The Day Holiday footage from Tooth & Nail Day is on a separate playlist from the rest).

Apparently Destroy The Runner found the video shortly after I posted it and spread the word giving me quite the number of hits (over 800 now and over 700 the first day!).  Thanks guys!

Working On: A Covenant Announcement/Sunday Afternoon Barbeque

Though I have been working through the Cornerstone 2008 footage, I took a short break to make a film project surrounding an important announcement regarding Covenant and a Barbeque held in the afternoon with help from the Alpha Church of the Nazarene.  Backpacks with school supplies were given to neighborhood children with help from donations from churches on the SWO District.

This project is admittedly one I put little effort into as far as the editing process.  I did not film much and had little footage to work with.  Usually when it comes to the music I try to editing cuts with the beats of the songs.  I did not do much of that with this project but I am posting it so that people might see what we are doing at Covenant.

Apparently, though he has passed, Johnny Cash doesn't want people using his songs or at least Ring of Fire in their video projects. I had a notice to that regard today from youtube. I muted the audio from Cornerstone 2007 Shenanigans part I so that the video could still be viewed at least but you won't hear what's going on sadly.
