New Videos from TigerRAWk Film!

So over the last weeks I posted a ton of video from CovenantShows (CovenantShows.blogspot.com). Last week after have a few difficulties compiliing a DvD of a certain performance, I took a bit of a break from the show footage to put together a few other clips:

A video clip highlighting the vision for the future of Covenant that was supposed to be shown during the South West Ohio Church of the Nazarene District Assembly (apparently it was not ever shown so this is the world premiere!):

Modifying The CASH Patch On My Black Jacket

I bought a CASH back patch recently for my black jacket. It had Johnny Cash flipping the bird. I felt this might not be in best taste to wear so I tried to figure out a creative way to remedy this even though I am not really a fan of censorship (I can give you my reasons if you care to know). Some suggested just painting over it to cover up the finger but I came up with another plan. I used lyrics to a song he once recorded and painted with whiteout around the image of Johnny Cash and over top of the obscene finger:

All The Day Hoilday CD Release Party Bootleg DvD Now Available

On April 18th, 2009 there was a CD release party for All The Day Holiday's new album - "The Things We've Grown To Love." I filmed the entire evening but all the opening bands I filmed from the back of the venue near the sound booth. This caused for me to not have much good footage of those bands so I found the songs with the best footage and kept those and trashed the rest. I also had a dead battery at the end of the All The Day Holiday set which cuts short the encore song "Take A Moment." My apologies. Here is the playlist and the trailer for those who may be willing to donate for a copy of the DvD.

A Film of Explanation of A New Camera Aquisition & Fireworks

I am back at the video production thing after about a week of being without proper functioning equipment.

This video gives an explanation of a new camera acquisition and why that had to happen. It is also my first attempt at multi camera editing.

The first project I finished since being able to once again transfer video from my camera to my computer was footage of the Cincinnati Reds Post Game Fireworks:

Cornerstone 2005 - a "vintage" TigerRAWk Film

At the moment, my Canon ZR500 digital video camera is at A-Hi shop in the Norwood part of Cincinnati. It is there because yesterday while I tried to transfer some footage of various things (concert footage, church services, fireworks) I could not get a signal to come from the camera, through the firewire, to the mac but instead had the "DV-IN" blinking at me which I believe indicates a problem. Eventually it stopped appearing at all which indicates no connection what so ever. This is frustrating due to the fact I have a rather uneventful week and would love to have the footage available to edit but cannot without having the camera or something to playback the miniDV tapes. I only ever did it with the camera and as I mentioned in the first line, it is at the A-HI shop to be serviced (I hope). I tried a new firewire cable as my other one had caused some difficulty most every time I ever used it but that did not solve the problem. I did not want to send it away to the Canon service center and found A-Hi online as one of the few local jobs advertising repairs for cameras so I hope they can repair the DV jack on my camera at a decent price and within the next week or so. Once again, I am a very frustrated person at this point in time and it seems all else in life also is frustrating me on top of this situation. God help me constructively release this frustation!

Last week I finished getting a project uploaded to youtube so in the meantime...

This footage is from an analog video camera. It is amongst the first things I filmed. This is the last project I filmed with this camera. Please do not judge my projects based on the quality of these videos. All this footage is part of Cornerstone 2005. there are 19 different videos in the playlist of various bands and shenanigans. It may be of interest to some of you and I hope you enjoy this for what it is. For better footage please check out my Cornerstone projects starting in 2006 and getting progressively better up through the 2008 year...and there will be more to come as Cornerstones continue to happen!
